24 Million Accounts Sony Online Entertainment has been in-Hack

As has been predicted before, Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) also suffered the same fate with "brother" of his, Playstation Network (PSN). Yesterday, May 2, 2011, SOE has confirmed that it had also been compromised by hackers. In their statement, has confirmed that about 24 million accounts and 12 thousand credit card numbers from outside the U.S. are likely to have been stolen. It is estimated that these data are stolen between April 16 and 17 last April and SOE believe that it happened at the same time with the infiltration of the PSN.

A statement issued by the SOE says that the data has been stolen is 24 million SOE accounts along with some data from the database from 2007 that has expired and about 10 thousand records direct debit from a few accounts from Austria, Germany, Netherlands and Spain. Some of the stolen data menliputi data about the bank account number, customer name, account name and address of the customer.

Infiltration that occurs on a new SOE Sony know when the technicians were examining SOE system in anticipation of a result of the attacks on the PSN. But what power, turns out SOE has also been attacked. Sony's own party have said that their system actually does have a security problem since first launched, but these obstacles until yesterday when the attack has not been resolved.
