Sniper Elite Nintendo Wii Review

Online gamers are familiar with sniper or war games as people consider them the most popular among the internet games. These are now played all over the world, became well-known and well-liked by many because of the excitement and challenge it brings to the gamers. Snipers in these games must be quick and agile to find and hit the target with accuracy.

They should also be fast in their reaction time so as to obtain very high points. These games are well-loved by many because of the life-like characters and authentic feel of the landscapes. Other games have virtual guns for a real feeling of fighting in the battlefield.

Most games like these are not for young kids though, because it contains violent content not suitable for them. One of these sniper games is the sniper elite wii that is now preferred by a lot of people. It is packed with 28 exciting and action-packed missions that should be completed during the progress of the game.

A lot of gamers say the missions are not so satisfying. Although there are still many who feel the more complex missions are great, such as climbing your way to the top of a cathedral tower and snipe the enemy soldiers away.

This happens as they rush to your ally, who has been stuck while waiting for transport. Most game lovers observe that the problem is that most of the missions are anti-climactic. There is a lengthy time spent for fighting through six or seven simple but time-consuming objectives.

And while this is the case, upon arriving at the final objective, you will find it so simple and unexciting like walking to the ex-filtration camp unchallenged, and you can exit the level easily.

Another problem that you can encounter with the missions is that these require so much trial and error trying to figure out what is supposed to be done. Like other sniper games, you will get killed a lot of times, while figuring out what the best position is to complete the objectives, or where enemies will come from.

Because of this, you have to replay the same mission several times, even going back on the easiest level of difficulty. It is for this reason that the game can be frustrating when after going through 20 minutes or more of build up, you find the guy you were supposed to assassinate get frightened and got away and you have to go through that 20-minute build up all over again.

But the good thing is, you can save the game anywhere you want and at any time, but at a limited number of saves for every mission. What you want though is to save often, so that you will not be going back to the same tracks when you die.

Because as a sniper you are not strong enough to take much damage, you will die a number of times. The few rounds of close range shooting from a machine gun are enough to put you down. The bandages and medikits can be searched from corpses and found on the ground, but there are only few healing items.

The artificial intelligence of the enemy is very canny though, since they possess a smart sense of where you are even when you've gone to great lengths to remain hidden.

The game is very challenging because the enemies do not just stand there but they crouch, run for cover, lay down, and even work together to pull some dirty tricks against you. There are numerous kinds of challenges and it gets very exciting when it is far more effective to outdo your enemies than to outgun them.
