The Sarafan have been put down by Kain after Blood Omen 2, but as the stakes become higher, the vampire legend himself and in his dark necromantic methods of vampire creation, breathes his essence on the corpse of the Sarafan priest : Raziel... And following... his brethren.
In the passing centuries, the Vampire Vorador has come across the vision of a grim future brought forth by Kain. As Vorador begins to devolve, so does his patience with Kain's methods. In a battle over the land, the human leaders bring forth elemental glyphs, each one harnessing the powers of elements which are fatal to the vampires: water, fire, sunlight, stone, force and sound. The abyss is born, the Eden is flowing with smoke and hazard. The clans are competing in their games, the lakes are flooding much of the land, and the gaps are filled between Blood Omen 2 and Soul Reaver in this epic game of conquest and ruthlessness.
